$600 plus S&H Serial # 1047 (large), 698 (small) on dowel. Heel plate also stamped 698 (small) Stamped "J.E. Dallas Maker" on dowel & rim. Dowel also stamped "Universal Favorite". MOP position markers on top side of neck. 12th fret marker @ 13 5/8, so scale length is approx. 27 1/4 in. Head dia. = 10 7/8 in. 22 hooks Rolled-over tone ring. Sold by Keith Prowse & Co., London. Prowse label was placed on dowel over the Dallas stamping, Prowse label is now mostly scuffed away. Metal Prowse tag tacked to heel. I really like this simple old tailpiece. I copy it in brass for my banjo restorations that aren't meant to be 100% authentic (i.e., "banjos with wings"). Inside of rim is inscribed in ink "From Mrs. Rouland Jan 1919 - On Board The U.S.S. (Maxiron ?).
