Unusual, spring-loaded tuners in peghead. Replaced missing 5th string tuner w/ Stewart MacDonald replica.
Metal cladding on pot was heavily corroded. Removed corrosion w/ steel wool.
The original finish on this banjos was in terrible condition. Removed finish w/ steel wool. Multiple, light, wiped-off coats of maple finish. Refinished w/ multiple, wiped-off coats of tung oil finish.
